Myrtle Products was founded in 2020 during a season of global uncertainty, yet what began as a simple step of faith and obedience quickly grew into a purpose-driven brand. After receiving a vision to create natural haircare, Benita began researching and testing formulations in 2018. What started as five humble shampoo bars soon became the foundation of what is now one of South Africa’s trusted natural haircare brands. The name Myrtle was prayerfully given and symbolizes restoration, beauty, and the calling to help restore the crowns of God’s people.
Over the past six years, Myrtle Products has grown from a small home setup into a flourishing family-run Kingdom business. Today, we are grateful to operate from a beautiful dedicated workshop where each product is still handcrafted with care, excellence, and integrity. Our range now includes specialized solutions for women, men, and the whole family, serving clients nationwide and beyond, as well as trusted stockists across South Africa and Namibia.

Benita
Founder & Formulator
Benita is a qualified hairstylist with a deep passion for healthy hair and scalp care. With her professional background and years of research, she developed each formulation through much prayer to meet real hair needs while remaining natural, gentle, and effective. Her heart is to create salon-quality products that not only restore hair but also uplift and encourage those who use them.
Bertus
Owner & Manufacturer
Bertus is the owner of Myrtle Products and oversees production and manufacturing. From the earliest days of pressing shampoo bars by hand after long workdays, he has been instrumental in building the business into what it is today. His dedication, strength, and commitment ensure every product meets the highest standards of quality, consistency, and craftsmanship.
Our journey has been one of faith, obedience, and growth. What began with prayer, perseverance, and late nights has become a thriving brand built on purpose, excellence, and trust in God’s provision.
It is our greatest honor to serve you with biblically inspired, natural haircare that nurtures both hair and spirit.
We are deeply grateful for every client who has supported, prayed for, and grown with us on this journey.
We were also incredibly honored to be featured on the Kwela television program on KykNet in April 2025 —
a moment that reminded us how faithful God is to open doors we could never open ourselves.
